Appalling weather here in Ljubljana. Met a Swiss guy at breakfast who told me about the two Swiss Cantons of Appenzell and St Gallen where the locals still eat dog meat. This has spoilt my image of Switzerland as the ideal place where the antithesis of everything photojournalistic resides. Eating dog meat is not dull. No time to write. Ljubljana still has plenty of Yugoslav-era relics, including plaques in abundance relating to the Partisans, including the one above.

Dog's dinner
